KOKO HOTELS and Hotel Wing International to Integrate Brands Starting September 2025 A new chapter for travel in Japan –
“The All-New KOKO HOTELS” with 63 hotels nationwide
Polaris Holdings Co., Ltd. and Minacia Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Kazuyoshi Shimojima) completed management integration in December 2024.
The two companies will begin unifying original brands, “KOKO HOTELS”, “Hotel Wing International”, and “Tenza Hotel,” starting in September 2025, and relaunch under the unified brand “KOKO HOTELS,” becoming one of nation’s leading hotel brands in terms of scale and presence.
With the increase in inbound travelers and the return of Japanese people to domestic travel, we have recognized a growing desire for opportunities to enjoy travel more fully to gain a deeper understanding of Japan.
In response to these changing consumer needs, we have redefined the brand concept of KOKO HOTELS in line with the brand integration and in order to respond to the evolving needs of consumer needs.
With the desire to support each guest’s travel purpose and style of stay, we embrace the concept of “Here Discovery Begins – A journey of New Discoveries Starts Here “, we are committed to offering hotel experiences that provide new discoveries for every guest.

■Background of Brand Integration
Today, there is a renewed attention on “traveling around Japan”.
While travelers from around the world are fascinated by Japan’s culture, nature, and history, Japanese people are also increasingly traveling throughout Japan to explore the country in search of new discoveries and the charms of regions that are still unknown to them.
The evolution and development of social networking services from websites has had a major impact on how we travel.
Travel experiences are instantly shared through photos and videos, making viewers want to “go there”, turning “someone else’s travel” into the spark for a new travel.
Travel has shifted from something to be experienced to something to be shared, felt, and spread.
With these changes in society and the diversification of tourism demand in Japan, the role of hotels is no longer seen as “merely places to stay,” but as hubs to enrich travel where guests can connect with the local character, people, things, and experiences.
The number of inbound travelers continues to reach record highs, and at the same time, the number of repeat visitors is gradually increasing.
On their second or subsequent visits, the travelers venture to explore regional areas, uncovering local charm, culture, and history that even Japanese have yet to discover.
In order to meet the needs of the times, we are taking a new step forward as a Japanese hotel group with a nationwide presence through the brand integration of “KOKO HOTELS” and “HOTEL WING INTERNATIONAL”.
“Here Discovery Begins” – A journey of New Discoveries Starts Here.
Move forward together with the local community, gently sharing the area’s unique charm .
Our aim is to connect travelers with the locality and to serve as a gateway to memorable encounters and discoveries.
KOKO HOTELS currently consists of 3 existing brands, “KOKO HOTEL”, “KOKO HOTEL Premier”, and “KOKO HOTEL Residence”, and will be joined by a new addition, “KOKO STAY”.

■Brand Concept / Tagline

KOKO HOTELS is more than just a place to stay,
but a “starting point of a journey” where new discoveries begin.
Through encounters with local food, culture, and people,
heart-stirring experiences that you never knew you were missing.

■Number of Hotels and Areas of Operation
With the brand integration, “KOKO HOTELS” will expand to a total of 63 hotels and 9,489 rooms nationwide.
Starting in September 2025, each property operating under “Hotel Wing International” and “Tenza Hotel” brands will be gradually rebranded as sub-brands of “KOKO HOTELS”. (For details, please refer to the attached document.)
The KOKO HOTELS point program has already started since July 1, 2025, and going forward, we plan to introduce unified services across all KOKO HOTELS as well as a new loyalty program.
